A Better Way of Being
Are you struggling with life, and unable to move forward? Perhaps you’re stuck in negative patterns of behaviour and unhelpful thinking. Maybe you want to break free and work towards positive change. Deciding to start therapy can feel very daunting and reaching out is your first step.
When we can no longer manage or feel overwhelmed, we all need support. Therapy can help you overcome life’s challenges. Through better insight, deeper understanding and self-acceptance, you can live a more enriched and contented life.
I offer short and long-term online sessions and work with adults all over the U.K. across a diverse range of issues. As your therapist, I focus on your needs and specifically tailor my approach to support and empower you to find the answers and make decisions independently in a confidential and trusting environment.
I’m Lindsay Price, a fully qualified insured and BACP-registered Counsellor offering online Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy sessions to individuals. Counselling helps you explore your issues, thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and attitudes, enabling you to make lasting changes that are authentic to you. During our sessions, you actively take control leading the way, while I support you, so you feel heard and understood.
The first step is to contact me so we can have an initial chat. We can then book your first session and go from there. The first step is discovering and understanding yourself - what your needs are and your goals in therapy. When you start working with a therapist, you may feel nervous about meeting someone new. Part of my role is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to feel like you can openly express yourself. Online sessions are a convenient way of undergoing therapy, where you can find a quiet, comfortable space to be fully at ease.
Using an integrative approach means I incorporate knowledge, training, and experience of different therapies, such as Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamics, CBT or Gestalt and combine them with my Person-Centred core, to enable me to tailor my approach to better suit your unique needs.
Online therapy costs £50.00 per session and lasts 50 minutes. The fee is payable 24 hours before your session, and you can pay online or via BACS bank transfer.
Everyone is unique, and I tailor your therapy specifically to your needs. So, how many sessions you require depends on what issues you are experiencing. I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy and we review our work together regularly.
To make an appointment email or use the contact form above. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the therapist you chose. I will contact you within the next day to arrange a FREE 20-minute consultation.
In line with the BACP ethical framework that I follow, firstly we discuss a therapeutic contract between you and me. This is an opportunity for me to explain everything you can expect from us working together, including my confidentiality, and what I can offer you. We also agree on some mutual boundaries, and you can ask about anything else that might be concerning you. We then use the rest of the session to have a more in-depth talk about you, your current issues and what you want from our sessions.
Full payment of sessions is usually made 24 hours in advance of your session via online payment or a BACS transfer.
Please let me know 24 hours in advance if you cannot make your session and need to cancel or change it.
As a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) member, I work within their ethical framework. Confidentiality is the basis for a successful therapeutic relationship. Everything you discuss during our sessions is confidential. However, there are a few exceptions where I may be obligated to break this confidentiality, but this is rare, and I will discuss this with you in more depth at the beginning of our first session.
